We have marked this one as NOT no-degree-friendly, and we want to be straight about why. Postings for this title very commonly ask for a quantitative degree, often a postgraduate one, and unlike most roles here that requirement is frequently real rather than decorative — the statistics are load-bearing. It is not impossible without one, and people do arrive from analysis, research or a scientific field. But if you are choosing a route into tech with no degree and no maths background, data analysis or data engineering are honest routes and this is a slower one. Our free-first position does not change; our claim about how open the door is does.
Who it suits. People who enjoy being wrong in public and finding out why.
Runway. Years, and the statistics genuinely cannot be skipped.
