How we verify
Every resource, price and date on this site was checked against the vendor's own page on the date shown. Where we could not verify something, we say so instead of guessing.
The rules we hold ourselves to
No verification URL, no row. If we cannot point at the vendor's own page, the claim does not ship. "We could not verify this" is a legitimate result and appears on pages as itself.
"Free" is never a bare word. It always splits three ways: free to learn with no certificate, free to learn with a free certificate, or free to learn with a paid certificate. Those are very different offers and collapsing them is how people get misled.
Costs show their arithmetic. A certificate's real price is not the sticker — it is the sticker plus renewal, divided by how long it lasts. We show that division on the page so you can check it.
A badge is not a certification. Progress trophies and completion certificates never get displayed as professional credentials, however the vendor markets them.
Retirements are first-class. A retired exam or a withdrawn course is shown as prominently as a live one. Stale recommendations do real damage.
No salary estimates. We don't publish salary estimates. Numbers copied between blogs drift from reality, and a wrong number costs you real negotiating power. When we have a verified public source, it goes here with its date.
Dates on everything. Every resource, price and policy carries the date it was checked. Prices move — CompTIA raised its exam prices on 2026-06-01, and the internet is still full of the old numbers.
What we have not done
A site that only lists its strengths is not being straight with you. Open gaps right now: a full audit of every outbound link is still pending; several vendors publish exam prices only behind region-gated checkouts, so those are marked provisional rather than quietly guessed; and most career families have no shipped route yet.
